First Holy Communion
First Holy Communion is one of the most joyful milestones in a child’s faith journey. It’s a time to celebrate God’s love and welcome Jesus more deeply into our lives through the Eucharist.

Preparing for First Holy Communion
Children usually prepare for their First Communion through our parish programme. This includes learning about the Mass, the meaning of the Eucharist, and the importance of prayer and forgiveness.
If your child is ready to begin preparation, please contact the parish office for details of registration and session dates. Parents will also be invited to a short meeting with our priest.

The celebration
The First Communion Mass is a very special day for our parish community. Families gather in joy as the children receive the Body of Christ for the first time.
Children usually wear white as a sign of purity and new life, and many families choose to mark the day with a small gathering afterwards.
Other considerations
Photographs: You are welcome to take photos after Mass. Please avoid photography during the liturgy itself.
Dress: There are no strict rules — simple and respectful clothing is perfect.
Donation: There is no fee for the programme. A small contribution to support parish activities is always welcome.
